Jaw bone atrophy
from 0 UAH
Jaw bone atrophy is a resorption (loss / destruction) of the alveolar process of the jaw, characterized by a decrease in the volume, length and width of the bone under the gum after the loss and prolonged absence of teeth in the hole. It is considered one of the most common dental problems, diagnosed in almost 90% of patients. The consequences of the pathology have a detrimental effect on the shape of the osseous-jaw skeleton, often preventing prosthetics before implantation without preliminary bone augmentation after forced tooth extraction or gum plasty.
