Lingual braces

Lingual braces are an orthodontic system consisting of locks, arches and ligatures, in which the design and principle of operation are exactly the same as those of conventional (vestibular) braces, but in a different location – on the inner sides of the teeth on the lower or upper jaw. With this method, it was possible to achieve a hidden wearing of an artificial structure in the patient’s mouth, which accordingly increased the aesthetics and comfort of wearing it, as well as the total cost of the lingual bracket system. In accordance with the intention of the manufacturers, the teeth are displaced from the inside, and the constituent elements of the product are not noticeable to others, even during particularly lively communication.
