Wisdom tooth removal
Wisdom teeth or third molars (figure eights) are units of the dentition located on each jaw at the end, which usually erupt last at the age of 16-24 years, sometimes later or earlier. Despite the anatomical structure similar to the rest of the molars, the eights have distinctive features: an unusual shape of the crown of the upper jaw and the absence of chewing function (they do not participate in the process of chewing food in 90%).
