Correction of occlusion with veneers

Correction of occlusion with veneers

Veneers for crooked teeth are the thinnest linings made of ceramic, zirconia or composite material that are installed on the front of the teeth. With the help of veneers, dentists solve the problem of irregular shape of dental units, discoloration of enamel, etc. Fabrication and installation takes from 1 to several visits, depending on which method is chosen.

For example, a direct method can be used – it passes directly into the patient’s oral cavity, applying a composite material to the surface of the teeth. And it can take from 7 to 14 days, when the doctor first takes impressions from the teeth, sends the samples to the dental laboratory, where the veneers are made, and only then they are fixed on the enamel surface in clinical conditions.
