Dental onlay
Restorative inlay is an orthopedic micro-prosthesis made of metals, ceramics or composite materials to restore a badly damaged tooth when it is too late to place a filling and it is too early to crown. Such an inlay allows you to restore both the external aesthetics of the dental unit and strengthen it from the inside for subsequent loading with a crown. It is made only indirectly in the laboratory on the basis of casts. Unlike fillings, it is more durable, does not wear out and does not change color over time, does not shrink. Unlike crowns, it is smaller and replaces only part of a living tooth.
