Plaster models

A plaster model of teeth is an anatomical reproduction of the jaw or a certain area on it using special materials, which extremely accurately conveys the shape, size, slope of the restored segment, as well as the width and height of the gums. Such models make it possible to assess the correctness of the restored occlusion (the accuracy of the fit of the lower and upper jaws), the convenience of the product, compliance with natural chewing movements; correct the position and predict the level of wear.

Most often, gypsum acts as a material, which is easy to use: it quickly hardens, acquiring the desired shape and is just as easily corrected.
