Dental exostosis is a single or multiple benign neoplasm on the lower or upper jaw, characterized by the growth of bone and cartilage or bone tissue and their manifestation in the form of bone formations, outgrowths and protrusions (osteophytes) of a mushroom-shaped or cone-shaped form on the gingival mucosa in the mouth.
