Carious spot
Carious / pigmented spot is a small, barely visible white spots (initial caries), they are also called carious, acting as signs of demineralization, that is, a preliminary stage of caries that appear on the enamel, which makes it dull and loses its physical properties. It is a consequence of insufficient oral hygiene, but can be caused by other factors, for example, the lack of vitamins in the diet or, conversely, due to an overabundance of certain substances.
