Upper lip frenuloplasty
The frenulum of the upper lip is a special fold of mucous in the oral cavity, which is responsible for connecting the lip to the jaw bones above the gum. Often, various defects of this seemingly insignificant part of the dental system are formed in childhood, leading to serious dental problems as they grow older.
Frenuloplasty on the upper lip is a surgical operation performed mechanically or by laser in adults and children to trim or cut off the connecting fold, resulting in greater mobility of the upper lip.
