Indirect sinus lift
Closed (crestal) sinus lift is a surgical operation in dentistry to restore bone tissue after extraction or other loss of a tooth (for example, with periodontitis), which consists in raising the bottom of the maxillary sinus in the upper jaw (not the lower) from the side of the alveolar process, if the height of the bones is no more than 5-6 mm, which can be increased simultaneously with implantation. The procedure is less complicated and traumatic, due to the fact that all manipulations are performed through a small hole in the gum – the one where the teeth grow from.
