Periodontal disease in adults

Adult periodontitis is a dental disease that affects the periodontal tissues and ligaments of patients aged 21 years and over, causing the teeth to loosen in the socket and eventually fall out. It is usually accompanied by painful or unpleasant sensations, which can manifest themselves in an acute form or proceed almost imperceptibly, causing short-term spontaneous pain.
