During these visits, the orthodontist evaluates the results of the correction and, if necessary, adjusts the bracket system to correct the degree and direction of pressure on the teeth.

For example, once a month it is necessary to change the ligatures – an auxiliary structural element, which is a metal wire, and once every 2 months it is necessary to change the arc, which is installed for a certain period.

Only ligature-free systems or self-adjusting braces can postpone a visit to a doctor for a longer period.
