Baby (milk) tooth numbering
The numbering of teeth in children is a universal scheme / system for the order of the arrangement of children’s milk units in a child, which allows each tooth to be assigned a specific constant number, taking into account its position, in order to display the data obtained during treatment in a medical record. Subsequently, any dentist, including those from another clinic, can check the stored information in order to trace the course of the corresponding clinical picture on a particular children’s tooth. This approach is very important in dentistry to control the eruption of individual units and during mixed dentition.
