Microimplants in orthodontics

A microimplant in orthodontics is a miniature titanium pin, only 1.5-2 mm thick in section and no more than 12 mm long, which is installed in the jawbone to correct the position of crooked teeth in order to atraumatically remove them from the bone after some time. Its design contributes to easy installation and exactly the same removal, eliminates the increased requirement for the volume and condition of the bone tissue, as a result of which the patient acquires the correct bite in a relatively short time.
