Treatment with dental equipment in children
Orthodontic appliances for children are artificial single-jaw/double-jaw removable or non-removable structures of mechanical action, with the help of which in dentistry they carry out corrective treatment by changing the location of both individual teeth and whole rows, correct pathologies of malocclusions (open, deep, distal, mesial, cross type and other types), change the shape, accelerate or stop the growth of the child’s jaws. Most often, given the plasticity and high mobility of dental units, such devices are used in relation to children, but sometimes they can be recommended to adults during the combined restoration.
