Supragingival dental scale
Dental supragingival plaque is a bacterial biofilm of a sticky consistency, yellow or brownish in color, formed above the gum at the level of the interdental spaces, the surface of the teeth, the tongue, consisting of a set of dead bacteria, saliva and food debris. Most often, signs of plaque appear in those areas where there is no necessary self-cleaning during chewing of food or which are difficult to clean with a brush.
