Artistic (aesthetic) restoration of teeth is an individual cosmetic procedure in dentistry to correct the anatomical shape and / or other visual defects of dental units with composite or photopolymer materials to improve their appearance and / or condition.

It is most often applied to the front rows in the smile zone by installing veneers, since the teeth in this area are clearly visible to others, as a result of which the existing problems cause embarrassment during communication, associated with internal discomfort. Depending on the degree of the clinical picture, the correction of the identified defects is carried out in 1 visit by the attending dentist or during several sessions with the involvement of a third-party specialist (laboratory technician).
